Guardian’s challenging single player mode will not only test your reflexes, but also your ability to quickly react and plan your defensive strategy. You have sophisticated weapons available to stop the incoming threat. Missiles automatically track their targets and can acquire new targets if necessary.
Nuclear missiles have similar tracking capabilities, but they also pack a huge area-of-effect punch.

A thorough help system shows all of the available powerups, and provides simple instructions for game play. There is also a complete tutorial, and a demo mode where you can watch the game play itself to see how it’s done.
Guardian tracks high scores for single player, multiplayer cooperative, and global peer-to-peer. The scores are tracked for each of the four difficulty levels. Global high scores use Xbox LIVE sessions to share the scores between other players playing Guardian, so you can see how well you rank.
Guardian supports multiple control configurations so you can find the one that works best for you.
Guardian was a labor of love. We spent countless hours on it creating, testing, and polishing. We hope you find as much enjoyment playing it as we did making it.
An earlier version of Guardian was entered into the 2009 Dream Build Play contest. While we didn’t win, it was a rewarding experience, and a great opportunity to get our feet wet with the Xbox Live Indie Game community.
