I've registered my server with the server tracker. Why does my internal IP address show when I need the external address or domain name?

By default the server finds the IP address of the computer it runs on. If this computer is on your internal network it will be an internal IP address. To change it to your external IP address or domain you need to enter that information on the Server Tracker options form in the "Server Info - Information to be sent to the tracker" section. And of course, you'll also need to make sure you have your router set up to route traffic on the server port to the appropriate internal IP address.

How can I give others access to my files?

Ordinarily nobody will be able to see any of the files in your home folder, but there are a number of ways to give people access to them. If you have the proper access permissions, you can create a shortcut in a public folder that points to the file or folder you want to share. Anyone with access to the folder will be able to see your shortcut, but will only be able to access the shortcut if you've given them permissions. You can also give somebody permissions to the file or folder, then tell them the path and they can create their own shortcut to it. The only way to allow someone to directly navigate to the file or folder is to give that person "list files" permissions to your home folder, and any necessary sub folders. "List Files" only lets the person see the list of files, it does not allow them to access the files unless you also give "read" access. Refer to the help file for specific descriptions of the various permissions you can give.
